Morning Routine

1. Breakfast | Breakfast needs to be ready by 7am

2. Medication | Give Ryan his medication with a cup of water. He can swallow pills on his own.
Refer to the updated list in the cupboard where his medicine is kept. |
These are the same 4 tasks Ryan does every morning. He will write the day of the week on the whiteboard.
As of May 2024, he is learning the way to set up this schedule himself, as this routine is fixed.
You may ask why as he should have already memorized it. However, from our past experience, we noticed Ryan keeps making mistakes and forgetting these 4 tasks when there is no visual board as a reminder.

We do this ahead of time so that we can prepare the ingredients for him.

This is the set of tasks we set for Ryan for either 10am or 11am.
Typically, we will set up 4 to 5 tasks at each hour.
The sequence and type of tasks vary from day to day. With the schedule in place, Ryan knows exactly the tasks he needs to do, increasing his independence.
